Our Inspection Findings

13. The SFRS has identified7 issues that may accompany climate change and that may impact the Service. These are:

  • Increased frequency and more severe flooding events
  • Increased frequency and scale of wildfires
  • Increased frequency of cold weather events
  • Regional water shortages
  • More frequent and intense storms resulting in structural damage.
